Hello, I’m Peter.
I’m an award-winning Picture Editor with two decades of experience across documentary and scripted films and series. My work has premiered at TIFF, VIFF, SXSW, and Hot Docs; streamed on Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Max, and Showtime; and aired on PBS, BBC, A&E, and more. Along the way, I’ve received seven nominations and a historic clean sweep of the industry’s top honours, winning the Canadian Screen Award, the Directors Guild of Canada Award, and the Canadian Cinema Editors Award in a single year for The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal (TIFF ’24 People’s Choice Award winner).
Recent work includes Black Zombie (SXSW ’26), Degrassi: Whatever It Takes (TIFF ’25), and The Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks (SXSW ’22).
I approach every project with an emotionally driven, cinematic sensibility, influenced by my love of art, music, and design.
When I’m not editing, you’ll likely find me cycling around town, snacking on French pastries, or consuming all things related to Larry David and Daniel Johnston.
